Camille Llobet's sonic art confronts the geomorphological mutations of the Mont-Blanc massif with the human realities of the Alpes-Maritimes. This solo exhibition, presented at La Station between September 23 and November 28, 2026, utilizes video and sound installations to interrogate the complexity of our territories. The work captures invisible effort and the memory of bodies, from a musician's gesture to a high mountain guide's step. It relies on sensitive expertise developed in collaboration with mountain workers, while evoking brutal transformations caused by glacial melting. Project Pacheû (2020-2023) opened a field of experimentation placing humanity within a complex environment of rock, snow, and ice.
"Monstre Pente" presents at La Station its long-term research conducted in the Mont-Blanc massif and interrogates the complexity of our territories: mutating natural spaces and industrial tourist zones. Geomorphology and sociology in high mountains echo the problems of the Alpes-Maritimes coastline.
