To qualify for tax-free shopping, you must notably be at least 16, normally live outside the European Union or in an equivalent tax territory, and visit for less than six months.
Purchases from the same retailer or retailer group over no more than three days must exceed €100 including VAT. The retailer must agree to tax-free sales and issue the form. Customs validation and payment of the refund are separate steps.
