Industry as Cultural Force
The exhibition 'When Industry Revolutionizes Culture' interrogates the tension between productive apparatus and artistic creation. Organized by Regard Indépendant at Café de l'Alliance Française (22 rue de Lépante, Nice), it analyzes how 20th-century industrial advances reshaped cinematic narrative and aesthetic forms. Industry is presented not merely as a tool, but as a cultural transformation factor capable of redefining what film can say and show. The Super 8 Rencontres, integrated into the 2026 edition of 'Autumn of the Image', prioritize celluloid cinema.
