The décor was clearly conceived for the social media era — coloured terrazzo, design furniture, statement lighting, pastel and gold colour palette that makes every angle photogenic. But the substance is there to support the image: the madeleines are excellent, moist, perfectly buttered, offered in flavours ranging from classics (lemon, pistachio, chocolate) to seasonal creations (passion-coconut, salted caramel, speculoos).
