Opéra Club Nice

In the heart of Old Nice, at 2 rue de la Préfecture, Opéra Club is an institution. Open since 1984 — making it Nice's oldest still-active nightclub — it has traversed decades, musical trends and generations of Niçois clubbers without ever losing its soul or energy.

What makes Opéra Club visually unique is its architectural setting: vaulted stone ceilings, heritage of the historic building in which it is installed, creating particular acoustics and an underground atmosphere very different from contemporary clubs.

Programme

Music is generalist and danceable — international pop, mainstream electro, reggaeton and Top 40 hits, with popular themed evenings (reggaeton, Latin nights, pop, 90s). The young audience (18-25 predominantly) comes first to dance in a relaxed, accessible atmosphere. Thursday evenings are particularly popular with students. Entry at €10 with drink included is among Nice clubs' most accessible.
