Nocturnal Artisan Market — Cours Saleya

When the sun sets over the Cours Saleya and the flower market stalls are packed away, another magic begins. From Tuesday to Sunday evening, from mid-May to mid-September, between 6pm and 12:30am, around fifty Nice and regional creators occupy the Cours with their artisan, artistic and fashion stalls, in one of the most beautiful and most memorable atmospheres on the Côte d'Azur.

This market is not a tourist fair, it is an authentically creative gathering, open to all, where every seller is the artist or artisan who created the displayed pieces. No mass production, no imports, only signed local creations, with the maker available to explain the process and the story.

The Represented Universes

The selection is remarkably diverse: artisan jewellery in silver, bronze, resin and natural stones, created by independent Nice jewellers. Ceramics wheel-thrown and hand-painted with Mediterranean influences. Designer clothing and accessories, linen, organic cotton, natural dyes. Paintings and illustrations by local artists, Nice views, portraits, abstraction. Photographs of the Côte d'Azur in limited edition prints.
