Behind the name — a contraction of Julien and Oonmalee, the founding couple — lies one of Nice's most original olfactory experiences. Julien was formerly workshop manager at Molinard in Grasse; his partner Oonmalee brings traditional Thai massage expertise.

The Barfumeur Concept

Jumalee's central idea: the Barfumeur — around fifteen pre-composed fragrances presented in dispensing bottles, like a bar. You taste, test and compose by blending bases intuitively, guided by Julien's technical knowledge. The full workshop draws on 82 Grasse essences to build your formula from scratch, leaving with your personalised extract in a gold-labelled flacon of your design.
