Hi Beach

Attached to the Hi Hôtel (3 avenue des Fleurs), Hi Beach is the only Nice private beach conceived by an internationally renowned designer: Matali Crasset. Her concept revolutionises the traditional beach club by dividing the space into three distinct zones, in vibrant colours with purpose-designed furnishings:

Hi Relax — hammocks, relaxation sunbeds and massages, for absolute rest in a peaceful cocoon. Hi Energy — small wooden alcove lounges, bath-bed sunbeds, convivial atmosphere for groups of friends. Hi Play — the ultimate family space with floor-level sunbeds, UV-protective canopies for infants, playground and family tents. Each space has its own adapted menu.

Hi Beach goes further with a daily programme: sunrise yoga, kickboxing, massages, and a catamaran sea day at weekends. Friday and Saturday evenings feature DJ nights; Sundays give way to jazz performances by a resident singer.

Restaurant

Hi Beach's cuisine, initially supervised by chef Mauro Colagreco (Le Mirazur, world's best restaurant), holds a clear identity: chic, dietetic brasserie with light dishes, organic where possible, and staples like the celebrated Hi Burger (quality beef, heart of beef tomato) or truffle pizza. À la carte: fish of the day, creative salads, healthy snacks. Dishes from €24 to €29. Coffee: €3.50.

Sunbed rental: €16 per day, €10 half-day. Family House: €39 per day. Among the most affordable quality private beaches in Nice.

Atmosphere

Modern, colourful and inclusive. Hi Beach is Nice's private beach that best welcomes all visitor types — families, couples, groups, solo travellers. Daytime electro blends with Mediterranean scents. Free wifi, complimentary beach equipment (masks, snorkels, balls) and a boutique complete a very comprehensive offer. Some reviews describe the atmosphere as 'like home around a pool'.

Guest Reviews

Highlights: The concept is unique — the best zone organisation on the entire Côte d'Azur. Food is fresh and delicious with genuine 'creative flair'. Staff are described as enthusiastic, smiling and truly focused on guest needs. Rates are among the most competitive for this service quality. Honeymoons and romantic stays feature in many glowing reviews.

Areas for improvement: Sunbed service can be less reactive during busy periods — guests sometimes need to visit the bar themselves. An incident involving a manager's behaviour towards a guest was reported. Sunbeds in a renovated version were considered less comfortable by some regulars.

Hi Beach remains Nice's most inventive and best-conceived private beach. Its inclusive concept, designer credentials and healthy cuisine make it a model that few establishments can rival.
