Bella Ciela — Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame

At 28 Avenue Notre-Dame, on the roof of Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame, Bella Ciela is the most successful transformation of the Nice rooftop scene in 2023. Formerly known as Skylounge Nice Bar & Rooftop, the venue was completely reimagined with a new colourful, chic and bohemian look — Instagrammable mirrors, creative photo spots, vibrantly coloured sofas, tropical vegetation — making it one of Nice's most visually seductive rooftops. At 360° height, the view plunges over the city's rooftops and the majestic facade of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral — a unique architectural setting that other Nice rooftops cannot offer.

The rooftop features a rooftop pool (hotel guests only) and a bar and dining area open to all. Programming includes Latin evenings — Cuban cocktails, colourful tapas, salsa atmosphere — that energise the city-centre nightlife scene. Bella Ciela is accessible via the French Riviera Pass.

The house speciality is Latin-inspired cuisine and cocktails: artisan express mojitos, creative margaritas, tropical spritz, colourful Latin tapas, cheddar nachos, homemade hummus. Atmosphere

Festive, colourful and communal. Bella Ciela is the good-mood rooftop — a relaxed atmosphere attracting a young, international clientele. Mirrors create visual effects greatly appreciated for photos. The evening starts from 2pm and builds toward 6–7pm.
