Tigermilk occupies a large space on Rue Gustave Deloye, right in the centre, on the site of the former Baie d'Amalfi. It is the 9th address of a Mexican and Latin-Caribbean inspired brand, opened in Nice in 2023. The name refers to leche de tigre, the emblematic Peruvian marinade.
The decor plays the colourful hacienda: warm colours, cacti, Mexican ceramics, several rooms around a large bar. On Sundays, the €26 brunch brings together a sweet plate, a savoury plate, a cold drink and a hot drink: avocado toast, huevos rancheros, chimi carnitas, pancakes, French toast. Everything is homemade.
Open every day, lunch and dinner. Brunch on Sundays from 11:30am to 3pm. Booking advised, especially for the brunch.
Highlights: The festive, colourful, very photogenic decor appeals. The Latin dishes, ribs and ceviche to the fore, are judged generous and tasty, for good value. The welcome and service are often described as friendly.
Areas for improvement: At Sunday brunch, several guests report dishes running out by mid-afternoon, with no option to order a la carte. The room can be noisy and quality uneven across services.
Overall impression: An original, festive fixed-price brunch, best enjoyed early on Sunday to make the most of the whole menu.
