The Anantara Plaza's crown jewel is its panoramic 6th-floor rooftop with restaurant and bar SEEN by Olivier, signed by Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Olivier da Costa. From its terrace, the 360° view encompasses the Mediterranean, Old Nice, the hinterland and the Alps. The menu blends Mediterranean cuisine with Asian touches in a sophisticated, creative register. Room acoustic comfort is often cited as exceptional — 'you feel enveloped'. The location, just 3 minutes' walk from Place Masséna and 5 minutes from the sea, is unanimously praised. Proximity to city centre shops and restaurants is a major asset.

Areas for improvement: The absence of a pool is the main limitation — partner access to Ruhl Plage is a valid alternative but not identical. Some standard rooms are considered slightly small for this tier. Valet parking (€59/night) is considered expensive.
