The direct port view from the terrace and the freshness of the cuisine contrast with what one might expect from a Nice waterfront restaurant. No bouillabaisse or socca here — but smoked choukouya meats, filled calzone naans, goat cheese and honey fries and Ivorian specialities prepared from fresh produce, in a relaxed setting where staff kindness is consistently cited as exceptional.

Cuisine

Chef Flo cooks exclusively over wood fire — meats and fish are smoked over wood chips according to Ivory Coast traditions. Must-tries: smoked lamb choucouya (unanimously cited as the best dish), Ivorian-spiced smoked chicken, calzone naans in multiple variants, atiekè, signature cocktails. Short menu but every dish is prepared to order. Average spend: €26 — one of the best value options at the port.

Warm, exotic and festive. Eden Garden is described as 'a trip to Africa with your feet in Nice's port'. Musical programming creates a vibrant atmosphere. The port-facing terrace is ideal for a dinner extending into the late evening.
